Writing Themes

In my writing, I leverage multiple themes to engage the reader and tie history to the burning themes of today.  Why?  So that we can see how far we have come and how far we have yet to go.

Inclusion:  My historical characters leverage women, people of color and other classes in their life, a similar theme that we strive for today.

Freedom:  My characters strive for social norms that allow people to use their talents to the best of their abilities, for mutual benefit.

Collaboration:  It takes all of us.  We can achieve more by working together.

Love:  The many types of love appear in my books:  love for purpose and meaning, love for different types of people, love for science and learning, etc.
